Sourcing questions

The questions buyers ask first.

Minimum quantities, lead times, the processes we run and what our certificates actually cover — answered plainly, so you can judge fit before writing to us.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Our working minimum is 500 pieces per style per colour. Smaller quantities are possible on repeat programmes, or where a fabric is already running for another order, so it is worth asking rather than assuming.

How long does sampling take?

A proto sample against your tech pack and measurement sheet takes 10 to 14 days. A size-set or pre-production sample takes a further 7 to 10 days once comments are settled.

What is your bulk production lead time?

Bulk runs 45 to 60 days from approved sample and confirmed order, depending on fabric, quantity and the value addition involved. Programmes needing yarn dyeing or heavy embroidery sit at the longer end.

What is your production capacity?

Around 5,000 finished garments a day, across a 20,000 sq. ft. facility with over 150 sewing machines and more than 250 personnel.

Which processes do you carry out?

Knitting, dyeing, printing and embroidery are all part of what we do, along with cutting, stitching, checking, finishing, packing and dispatch. Keeping value addition close is what holds print register and embroidery placement consistent from sample to bulk.

Which fabrics and constructions can you produce?

Single jersey, rib, interlock, pique, French terry, fleece, ottoman, pointelle, drop-needle rib and jacquard structures, in cotton, cotton-elastane and cotton-polyester blends from roughly 160 to 340 gsm.

Are you SA 8000 and WRAP certified?

Yes. Fabro Textiles holds SA 8000:2014 certificate 66650, issued by ABS Quality Evaluations, and WRAP certificate 19917 at Platinum level, issued on 12 July 2024. Both certificates cover the Tirupur facility, and the exact processes each one covers — and excludes — are published in full on our certifications page.

Do you work to buyer designs or offer your own?

We manufacture to buyer designs, artwork, tech packs and measurement sheets. The styles shown on our products page are capability references from past production, not a stock range.

Which age ranges do you produce?

Boys and girls from 2 to 16 years, split across Mini and Kids ranges, planned season by season for spring, summer, autumn and winter collections.

Which markets do you export to?

We export to European and international buyers, working on the incoterms agreed for each programme, with export documentation handled at dispatch.
